Unihertz Mobile today announced Jelly 2, a credit card sized smartphone with 4G connection and global unlock with Android 10 operating system.
Jelly 2 is the world’s smallest phone with 4G in terms of the footprint it carries on its face, however, it is not the world thinnest phone at 16.5mm side thickness. After 3 years following the release of first version, Unihertz’s Jelly 2 was announced today on Kickstarter campaigns, a website for backing and funding worldwide projects from Arts to Technology.

The phone weighs around 110g with a display size of 3 inches and a battery capacity of 2000mAh. Its 480p display is backed by a Helio P60 Octacore 2.0Hz processor and 6GB RAM with a Universal Flash Storage (UFS2.1) of 128GB. It comes with a 16MP camera module on the back and a 8MP selfie camera on the front. It has all the features of any larger size smartphone including NFC, Fingerprint, USB-C amongst others.
Unihertz was ecstatic that the funding goal was reached with in 175 seconds.

The funding so far stands at $462 thousand while the pledged amount was very less at $50 thousand. Jelly 2 is set to release in Dec 2020.
