World’s Largest Electric Aircraft Flies For 30 Mins

The engine maker, MagniX, hopes the electric aircraft could get into commercial service by 2021 and have a range of 160 km.

Cessna Caravan, the world’s largest all-electric aircraft, made its successful flight and lasted for around 30 min before landing back in Moses lake, Washington. MagniX emerged in 2009 to disrupt the air travel industry by making alternative power more attractive for owner operators. The company’s team includes members from companies like Airbus, Boeing, Google-X, SpaceX and Tesla, according to its website.
